Car rental in Faliraki
Faliraki sits 26 km down the east coast from the airport, about 35 minutes' drive, and is the largest of the northern resorts. Parking is easier here than in Rhodes Town, which makes it a comfortable base for driving.

Why rent from Faliraki
Buses serve Faliraki and Rhodes Town reasonably well, so many visitors rent only for the days they plan to explore. A local pickup or delivery means you are not paying for the car while it sits in a hotel car park.
Worth the drive
- Anthony Quinn Bay and Ladiko — a few minutes south, and much better early in the day.
- Kallithea Springs — about ten minutes north.
- Afandou and Traganou beaches — quieter alternatives within fifteen minutes.
- Lindos — around 45 minutes further south along the coast road.
Practical notes
The main strip is busy at night, so park off it. The coastal road south towards Afandou is straightforward, and the run back to the airport is about 35 minutes outside peak hours.
